Why "Being Magic"?

Quite a few people ask my why I called myself "Being Magic" and not "Magic Beings". This has been happening more of late again, so I thought it was time to explain in a blog ...


...  the origin of "Being Magic" 🌟


When I was first searching for a business name, one thing was for certain - it absolutely HAD TO HAVE the word "magic" in it! I have always believed in magic so that was a given!! 🐲

I initially thought it would be Magic Beings - it sounded right in my head. But when I went to claim it, the domain was already taken.


At first, I felt a little disappointed… but then, like a whisper on a breeze, another thought came: “What if I flip it?”. I felt this name more than it sounding right at the time, but it settled into my heart ... and Being Magic was born 😍

It wasn’t until much later that I realised how perfectly the name had chosen me 🥰🔥


Magic Beings describes an identity - something static, something we are called.


However...


Being Magic is alive, breathing, unfolding - it’s a way of existing. It’s not about waiting to be given the title of “magical.” It’s about living it. Embodying it. It's about being the magic! Awakening it within yourself 🔥


That’s why my tagline is "Awaken Your Magic" - because the spark is already inside you. My role isn’t to give you something you don’t have, but to remind you of what you’ve always carried 💜


Some people, when they first hear the name, tilt their heads and say, “That sounds odd.”

And I smile, because I know that sometimes they aren't ready yet to understand what it means to be the magic 💖


This name isn’t just a brand - it’s a living mantra.

Every time I say it, I'm affirming: “I am Being Magic” 💜

And maybe that’s exactly what I'm here for - to share the magic that has always lived within me, and to remind others that there is much magic all around us 🦄💜🐲💚🧚🩵🧜‍♀️
