For many years, I have been working with animals energetically - basically using energy healing that most people will know as reiki, with a few different things added that make sense to me. However, I always wanted to add animal communication to the mix, so that I could gain deeper insights from the animal, as this is useful if there's no "normal" explanation for a problem. 🥰
I love working with the animals, and have had a lot of successes, but I was incredibly frustrated at the communication side - as it seemed to elude me. After 30+ years of classes, books and more courses, I still did not seem to be able to "get" this.
But even without the communication, to be known as an animal "healer" didn't feel quite adequate... and towards the end of 2023, I heard a podcast from a lady I follow (known as Magenta Pixie), and she referred to all those who care deeply for animals as "animal kingdom guardians"! As I listened to this "label", I got full body goosebumps, and I knew that was it!! That encompassed all I had envisioned in my passion to help animals! ⭐ 🥰
It wasn't till I mentioned this to someone I knew, who said "why don't you call your sessions "animal guardianship" then?" I'd not thought of that. So almost immediately, I hopped onto my website and changed the name of my sessions.
What is very interesting, is that I had a session on my website, still hidden, but ready to go, called "animal communication" ... but have realised through all this, that they ARE NOT and CANNOT be separated!! It was only my own expectations and my own beliefs (which were very limiting!!) that held me back from allowing the communication into my healing sessions!
Hence, the animal guardianship session was born!! Ironically, it was only when I actually started BEING in the space and putting myself in a very scary and daunting position, that the magic unfolded!! I realised that there WAS some communication coming through (even if very brief at times), it just wasn't in the way I expected it!! One session done, I thought I had it worked out, but the next one came along, and was totally different! Of course, this is when I realised that I had to just drop ALL my expectations, and just be in the present moment and to just allow each session to unfold as it wanted to! 🦄
Each session is unique, and I never know what is going to happen until it's over. I still battle with self-doubt, and all the things we all struggle with, but knowing the animals need me, keeps me going!! And my best teachers?? All the ANIMALS who I had during the first 2 weeks of being in the deep end. I am so humbled and honoured to have had such awesome teachers!! No book or course, could have taught me what those first animals taught me!! Added to this, the human guardians of these animals, were also totally amazing and I am truly grateful for them having trusted me with their cherished non-human family members!! I think there were a few soul contracts in the mix here!! 😇🕊
I've learnt to just allow whatever wants to happen, and whatever wants to come through, to do so. I try not to put pressure on myself, and to just trust the process. I learn during EVERY session, that there is more magic, and more room for expansion! But the very best thing about what I do, is hearing that the animals are better in some way, shape or form...AND, hearing how happy their humans are too!! Happy animals plus their happy human guardians make for a happier collective and a higher vibration!! ✨😍⭐
Of course, everything is in divine timing, and I was meant to be here, now, doing this work. But one day, perhaps I will be able to share my journey with other aspiring animal kingdom guardians, by offering some form of teaching. I think we've shifted, and the old ways of learning and doing things, are not necessarily working for some of us anymore... and I would love to be able to help those who are passionate about animals, to find new ways to access that magic deep within... so they can gain a different perspective on this from the current books and courses that are out there. 🕊🌿🐾🐝
So that's animal guardianship! It's really hard to describe and put in a box... but it fits with all that goes into it. As I continue to learn from all my animal friends, I hope to grow and expand to do more and more as the years go by. The animals are such pure souls, and I think, they are amongst THE BRAVEST souls here on earth!! Imagine coming into a planet, where you are treated so disrespectfully at best, or tortured and killed at worst. They hold such unconditional love and EVERY SINGLE one of them deserves to be loved and cherished by us. By us loving them, and seeing them for the souls that they are, we become a better species. That is really my heartfelt belief!! 🥰🌎
